What a cookie is, and what we actually use
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage — work similarly. This policy covers all of them, and uses "cookie" as shorthand.
This site is deliberately light. There is no advertising network, no cross-site tracking pixel, no social media embed that phones home, and no session cookie for logged-in state, because there is nothing to log in to. In its default state, before you make any choice, the site sets one entry: the record of the choice itself.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and animation code from a public CDN. Those providers receive your IP address and user-agent as part of serving the file — an unavoidable consequence of any cross-origin request — but no cookie is set by them on this domain.
Categories, and what each one does
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function and to remember your own privacy choice. These cannot be switched off, because switching them off would mean asking you the same question on every page. They store no identifier that can be linked back to a person.
Analytics
Off unless you choose "Accept all". They tell us which sections of the platform pages are read, at what depth, and on which screen sizes. IP addresses are truncated before storage and the output is aggregated. Declining changes nothing about how the site behaves.
Marketing
Not used. We do not operate retargeting, conversion pixels or audience-building tags on this domain, and we will update this page before that ever changes.
Changing your mind
Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and make a different choice. Your new choice takes effect immediately.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Every major browser offers this under privacy or site-data settings, including a per-site control that lets you block this domain specifically. Blocking strictly necessary entries will make the cookie banner reappear on every page, but nothing else will break.
Browser privacy modes, cleared site data and some extensions can prevent the consent record from being stored at all. In that case the banner will appear again on your next visit. That is the browser working as intended, not a fault on this site.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends Sec-GPC: 1, analytics cookies are treated as declined without you needing to interact with the banner. The older Do Not Track header is also respected in the same way.
Updates and contact
If we add, remove or change the purpose of a cookie, this table is updated and the version number at the top of the page changes. Material changes reset consent, so you will be asked again.
